Request from a Local School

AKADO PRIMARY SCHOOL.

A brief Report.

The school has a population of 250 pupils currently 130 boys and 120 girls. The children under your programme are learning in different classes/grades according to the 2007 results showed improvement and some are averagely doing well. Few do not have proper uniform and bags for carrying schoolbooks. Most of them are under the care of old grand parents who are weak and can hardly fend themselves adequately. They are peasant farmers and hardly have enough to feed themselves and the orphans due to crop failure

We would highly appreciate starting a school feeding program. it will go along way to help these children who sometimes depend on one meal a day. We request the program to include whole school population.

Employees of the program to be hired from the community and preferable from needy families. The school will provide storage and House of Hope/Project Aids will have custody of the cooking materials and utensils. The food should include, maize, beans rice,

Finally, I do hereby thank your organization very much for the kind heart that you have extended to our school. Whatever you have done have been great help and encouragement to us in the community at large. It is our prayers that the GOOD LORD will continue to giving you strength so as to continue with this noble job.

Thanks a lot on behalf of Akado community.

Mrs.Lilian Obong’o
